Indication: Oral

Treatment of susceptible systemic and cutaneous fungal infections.

Foam/Gel

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis in immunocompetent adults and children 12 y of age and older.

Cream

Cutaneous candida; tinea corporis; tinea cruris; tinea pedis; tinea versicolor; seborrheic dermatitis ( Kuric ).

Shampoo 1%

Scaling due to dandruff.

Shampoo 2%

Tinea versicolor.

Mycoral Cream is an antifungal antibiotic.

Mycoral Cream is used to treat infections caused by fungus, which can invade any part of the body including the mouth, throat, esophagus, lungs, bladder, or skin.

Mycoral Cream may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Mycoral Cream [Usan:Ban:Inn:Jan], like clotrimazole, fluconazole, itraconazole, and miconazole, is an imidazole antifungal agent.

Indication: For the treatment of the following systemic fungal infections: candidiasis, chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, oral thrush, candiduria, blastomycosis, coccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, chromomycosis, and paracoccidioidomycosis.

KETOCONAZOLE (Nizoral) is an antifungal type of antibiotic. It treats fungal infections such as ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris or jock itch), sun fungus (tinea versicolor, pityriasis versicolor), and dandruff. Generic Mycoral Cream skin cream is available.

Indications:

  • Athlete's foot (tinea pedis; ringworm of the foot);
  • Ringworm of the body (tinea corporis);
  • Ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris; jock itch);
  • Seborrheic dermatitis;
  • "Sun fungus" (tinea versicolor; pityriasis versicolor);
  • Yeast infection of the skin (cutaneous candidiasis).

  • Mycoral Cream is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, skin, hair, nails, vagina, urinary tract, blood and other organs.

    Oral Fungal infections

    Adult: 200 mg once daily. Increase to 400 mg once daily if clinical response is insufficient. Treatment duration: 14 days and for at least 1 wk after symptoms have cleared and cultures have become negative.

    Child: ≥2 yr: 3.3-6.6 mg/kg daily as a single dose. Treatment duration: 1-2 wk for candidiasis ; at least 4 wk in recalcitrnt dermatophyte infections and up to 6 mth for other systemic mycoses. Oral Chronic vaginal candidiasis

    Adult: 400 mg once daily for 5 days. Topical/Cutaneous Seborrhoeic dermatitis

    Adult: As 2% cream: Apply to the affected area bid for 4 wk or until clinical clearing. As 2% foam: Apply to the affected area bid for 4 wk. As 1 or 2% shampoo: Apply on the scalp twice wkly for 2-4 wk; continue for a few days until symptoms disappear. For prophylaxis: 2% shampoo is used once every 1-2 wk. Topical/Cutaneous Skin fungal infections

    Adult: As 2% cream: Apply 1-2 times daily to cover affected and surrounding area until at least a few days after disappearance of symptoms. For treatment of pityriasis versicolor: As 2% shampoo: Apply on the skin once daily for up to 5 days. For prophylaxis: 2% shampoo is used once daily for a max of 3 days before exposure to sunshine. Topical/Cutaneous Pityriasis versicolor

    Adult: As 2% cream: Apply 1-2 times daily to cover affected and surrounding area until at least a few days after disappearance of symptoms. For treatment of pityriasis versicolor: As 2% shampoo: Apply on the skin once daily for up to 5 days. For prophylaxis: 2% shampoo is used once daily for a max of 3 days before exposure to sunshine.

    Indications:

    Adult: PO Fungal infections 200 mg once daily, up to 400 mg once daily if needed. Usual duration: 14 days and for at least 1 wk after symptoms have cleared and cultures have become negative. Chronic vag candidiasis 400 mg once daily for 5 days. Topical Seborrhoeic dermatitis As 2% cream/foam: Apply twice daily for 4 wk or until clinical clearing. As 1 or 2% shampoo: Apply twice wkly for 2-4 wk. Prophylaxis: 2% shampoo is used once every 1-2 wk. Pityriasis versicolor As 2% cream: Apply 1-2 times/day. As 2% shampoo: Apply once daily for up to 5 days. Prophylaxis: As 2% shampoo: Use once daily for up to 3 days before exposure to sunshine. Skin fungal infections As 2% cream: Apply 1-2 times/day until a few days after disappearance of symptoms.

    Oral Blastomycosis

    Adult: 200 mg once daily. Increase to 400 mg once daily if clinical response is insufficient. Treatment duration: 14 days and for at least 1 wk after symptoms have cleared and cultures have become negative.

    Child: ≥2 yr: 3.3-6.6 mg/kg daily as a single dose. Treatment duration: 14 days and for at least 1 wk after symptoms have cleared and cultures have become negative. Oral Candidiasis
