Sedalgin-Neo (Caffeine), a naturally occurring xanthine derivative like theobromine and the bronchodilator theophylline, is used as a CNS stimulant, mild diuretic, and respiratory stimulant (in neonates with apnea of prematurity). Often combined with analgesics or with ergot alkaloids, Sedalgin-Neo (Caffeine) is used to treat migraine and other headache types. Over the counter, Sedalgin-Neo (Caffeine) is available to treat drowsiness or mild water-weight gain.

Sedalgin-Neo (Caffeine) stimulates respiratory system, heart and blood vessels in horses, cows, sheep and dogs

Metamizole - Indications: fever

Acetaminophen - Used for: Relieving headaches, migraine headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, premenstrual or menstrual aches, or other minor aches and pains (eg, due to sinusitis, arthritis, or colds). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) is an analgesic and antipyretic combination. It works by blocking substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Analgesic-antipyretic. It has analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory action. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, the predominant influence on the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus, enhances heat transfer.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) (USAN) or Paracetamol (INN) is a widely used analgesic and antipyretic drug that is used for the relief of fever, headaches, and other minor aches and pains. It is a major ingredient in numerous cold and flu medications and many prescription analgesics. It is extremely safe in standard doses, but because of its wide availability, deliberate or accidental overdoses are not uncommon. Acetaminophen, unlike other common analgesics such as aspirin and ibuprofen, has no anti-inflammatory properties or effects on platelet function, and it is not a member of the class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs. At therapeutic doses Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) does not irritate the lining of the stomach nor affect blood coagulation, kidney function, or the fetal ductus arteriosus (as NSAIDs can). Like NSAIDs and unlike opioid analgesics, Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) does not cause euphoria or alter mood in any way. Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) and NSAIDs have the benefit of being completely free of problems with addiction, dependence, tolerance and withdrawal. Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) is used on its own or in combination with pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan, chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, doxylamine, codeine, hydrocodone, or oxycodone.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) (Jen Sheng) helps relieve pain and fever.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) (Chin Tien) helps relieve pain and fever.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) (Winston) helps relieve pain and fever.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) Euro-Pharm International Canada is an analgesic-antipyretic. It has analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory action. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, the predominant influence on the thermoregulation center in the hypothalamus, enhances heat transfer.

Sedalgin-Neo (Acetaminophen) provides temporary relief of minor aches and pains, temporary relief of fever and discomfort due to colds and "flu," and of simple pain and discomfort due to teething, immunizations and tonsillectomy.

Reduction of fever. Relief of aches & pains associated w/ flu, common colds, tonsilitis, teething pains & post-immunization reactions.

Codeine - Pharmacology: Stimulates opiate receptors in the CNS; also causes respiratory depression, peripheral vasodilation, inhibition of intestinal peristalsis, stimulation of the chemoreceptors that cause vomiting, increased bladder tone, and suppression of cough reflex.

Indication: Relief of mild to moderate pain.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) is in a group of drugs called narcotic pain medicines.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) is used to treat mild to moderately severe pain.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) is a antitussive medication of central action of opium alkaloid phenanthrene series. This medicine is opioid receptor agonist. According to the properties similar to morphine, but the analgesic effect is considerably weaker. This drug reduces the excitability of the cough center by stimulating the opioid receptors in neurons. To a lesser extent than morphine depresses the respiratory center. To a lesser extent inhibits intestinal peristalsis, but prolonged use can cause constipation. Myosis is weakly expressed if Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) used in therapeutic doses.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine), an opiate agonist in the CNS, is similar to other phenanthrene derivatives such as morphine. Codeine, in combination with guaifenesin or iodinated glycerol, is used as a cough suppressant and, as a single agent or in combination with acetaminophen or other products, is used for pain control and as an antidiarrheal agent.

Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) is a painkiller used to treat mild to moderate pain. Sedalgin-Neo (Codeine) also helps to suppress cough. It is used to treat dry coughs (coughs that do not produce much phlegm).

Phenobarbital - Pharmacology: Depresses sensory cortex, decreases motor activity, alters cerebellar function and produces drowsiness, sedation, and hypnosis.

Indication: Short-term treatment of insomnia; long-term treatment of generalized tonic-clonic and cortical focal seizures; emergency control of acute convulsions; preanesthetic sedation.

Unlabeled Uses

Treatment of febrile seizures in children; treatment and prevention of hyperbilirubinemia in newborns; management of chronic cholestasis.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) is in a group of drugs called barbiturates (bar-BIT-chur-ates). Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) slows the activity of your brain and nervous system.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) is used to treat or prevent seizures. It is also used short-term to treat insomnia, or as a sedative before surgery.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) is an anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative drug. This medication is a long-acting barbiturate. It is believed that the effects of phenobarbital, like other barbiturates, due to the ability to increase and / or mimic the inhibitory effect of GABA on synaptic transmission. Sedative-hypnotic effect due to the suppression of sensory cortex, decrease motor activity, changes in the functional state of the brain. Although the mechanism of action is not fully installed, phenobarbital, like other barbiturates apparently is particularly active at the level of the thalamus, which suppresses the rising holding in the reticular formation, thereby preventing transmission of impulses in the cerebral cortex. Anticonvulsant effect is due to suppression of the monosynaptic and polysynaptic transmission in the CNS.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) causes a dose-dependent respiratory depression.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital) reduces the concentration of serum bilirubin.

Like other barbiturates, this medicine contributes to the induction of microsomal liver enzymes, thereby enhancing or altering the metabolism of other drugs.

Sedalgin-Neo (Phenobarbital), the longest-acting barbiturate, is used for its anticonvulsant and sedative-hypnotic properties in the management of all seizure disorders except absence (petit mal).
